Call Me Suspended General Secretary And I Will Sue You-Janet Nabila Warns

The embattled General Secretary of the People’s National Convention, (PNC) Janet Nabila has threatened to sue any member of the party who will insist that she has been suspended and no longer the General Secretary.

According to her news on her suspension are not true as she still remains the party’s General Secretary.

Despite madam Janet insisting that she is still the General Secretary of the party, the Chairman of the party, Moses Dani-Baah had earlier told Citi News that the decision to suspend Janet Nabila was taken at a National Executive Council meeting held in Accra.

According to a statement from the party, it filed a petition to the Disciplinary Committee of the party, to summon the General Secretary over her misconduct and stewardship but she chose to snub the committee hence compelling them to suspend her-Something the party strongly believes it has cast them in bad light.

its National Executive Committee in considering and adopting a report submitted by the Discipthury Committee of the party unanimously took the decision to suspend the general secretary to rid the party of indiscipline to save itself from her persistent vile accusations. and disrespect for the leadership of the party which has undoubtedly cast the PNC in bad light.”

The statement added, “a petition we put before the Disciplinary Committee of the party calling for the General Secretary to answer for her conduct and stewardship but unfortunately, she snubbed the Committee by refusing to appear before the Disciplinary Committee despite several attempts by the Committee to get her to tum up.”

“Following from this the Committee presented its report to NEC for consideration which recommends indefinite suspension of Madam Janet Noble and it was unanimously endorsed by NEC in accordance with Article 5,71 of the pa, Constitution.”

“Though a painful decision, the NEC of the PNC deems it appropriate to adopt this decision to protect the image of the party in the midst of all the negative press surrounding the party, emanating from the conduct of the former General Secretary Madam Janet Nabla,” the statement read.
