Ranking member for Transport Committee of Parliament, Governs Agbodza has said that the ruling New Patriotic Party and Nana Addo’s administration are more interested in wining the 2024 election and not developing the country.
He also said that the Akufo-Addo’s administration couldn’t develop roads in the country despite it introducing its year of roads project.
”While they keep touting the year of roads, the reality is that nothing has been done. In my estimation, we owe road contractors over GHS8bn, so how are we going to improve the physical conditions of our roads?. We can’t dualize all our roads in the shortest possible time, so we prioritize which ones we can do first”.
”From where I sit and our kitty, I don’t think this government is interested in dualizing our highways. They are interested in doing things that will make them win the next election. You owe contractors, you have not paid them, yet you take money from the road fund for consumption”, Mr. Agbodza stated in an interview on Starr FM.
Meanwhile madam Carolyn Ewusi has said that for the NPP to break the 8-year-old cycle it needs strong and hard working at the center of the election to ensure it wins the election.
