Popular Political Science Professor Ransford Gyampo, has asserted that teachers have been cheated for far too long-something he says he wants to end soon.
Just as Article 71 of Ghana’s constitution favours politician, the lecturer has said that he wants the same constitution to recognize the hard work of teachers in the country.
He stressed that most often than not politicians want they (teacher) to tighten their belts while these same politicians eat heavily to get potbellies.
Speaking on Ghana Montie morning show aired on Neat FM he said; “they [politicians] look good and turn around to tell us [teachers] to tighten our belts whilst they are eating to get potbellies.”
He also demanded that Ghana’s constitution gets revised to benefit all and sundry and not just a few.
