An investigation by the Anglican church of Ghana has began into a video of a priest kissing some students of the St. Monica’s College of Education in the Ashanti Region of Ghana in a viral video.
The video sighted has the priest kissing some students during a church service on Sunday.
Reports gathered is that the priest kissed the students as a form of reward to the students for being outstanding.
The Anglican Church has released a statement indicating that a thorough research has began into the issue.
The attention of the hierarchy of the Anglican Church, Ghana under the leadership of the most Rev’d Dr. Cyril Kobbina Ben-Smith has been drawn to a circulating video of a Priest kissing some female students at the St. Monica’s College of Education within the Ashante-Mampong Diocese.
The Church is saddened by the news and wish to state expressly that, thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest will be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the Church.
