A careless driver has knocked down and cut a woman identified as Doris Dzifa, aged 38 into two at Obretemaa near Suhum on the Accra-Kumasi Highway in the Eastern Region.
The woman was said to be standing by the road side waiting for a commercial vehicle to board when she met her untimely demise on Thursday 12th August 2021.
Reports gathered is that the driver Michael Kotei, aged 36 was driving a Honda Accord private car with plate number DV 2115C-2021.
There were three other occupants of the car.
The driver reportedly lost control and veered of the road running over the madam Doris who was standing by the road after driving at a tough speed.
The driver and the three occupants sustained injuries and police who arrived at the scene took them to the Suhum Government Hospital for medical attention.
The remains of the woman has also been sent to the same hospital for autopsy.
