President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has finally reacted to the ongoing Sputnik V controversy stating that the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has suffered and is still suffering.
Nana Addo speaking to a gathering in Bono Region on Tuesday, 10th August 2021, hailed the Health Minister as one of the people from the Bono Region doing well under his administration.
He subtly reacted the to the Sputnik v saga stating that the Minister is currently receiving slaps from Ghanaians.
“There are a lot of people from the Bono Region in my government; including the Minister of Health, who is currently receiving slaps. He is an indigene of Dormaa. He has really suffered in that Health Ministry and is still suffering,” the President noted.
Meanwhile the Health Minister is on a two weeks leave of which he has spent a week already.
