The Police Service met convenors of #fixthecountry protest which began on social media at its head quarter on Monday 19th July 2021.

The #fixthecountry demonstration will come off on 4th August 2021 and the police met with the convenors to discuss plans relating to the demonstration.
The two parties agreed on the routes which were earlier announced by the campaigners.
After the meeting the police said they are poised to provide the necessary security for the members of the planned demonstration coming off on 4th August 2021.
Meanwhile actress Efia Odo who was one of the strong campaigners have bowed out of the protest with claims that her mental health is at stake.
