A 51-year-old mentally unstable man identified as Osman Nasir is reported to have drowned in the Volta river in Atimpoku in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He was said to have gone missing on July 11, 2021 but sadly his was found dead on the shores of the river on 14th July 2021.
A joint team of police, NADMO and Environmental Officers retrieved his body and deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile Security Analyst Adam Bonaa has expressed doubt in the 3-member Committee set by Interior Minister Ambrose Derry to investigate the Ejura disturbance.
He says the Committee lacked focus and wasn’t organized in its sitting hence leaving too many questions unanswered.
