A Sprinter Bus driver on Sunday 11th July 2021 was shot to death by suspected armed robbers at Labun quarters few miles Yeji in the Bono East Region of Ghana.
The incident was said to have taken place in broad day light at around 4pm on Sunday, scaring residents and making them leave in fear.
Reports indicated that the driver with the Sprinter bus who registration number is AW 4099-12 had loaded market women on board the vehicle and was traveling from Effiduase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana to Yeji but was unfortunately shot to death by the robbers and the market women robbed off their monies.
Police rushed to the scene when they got informed about the robbery but arrived late and couldn’t save the situation.
The body of the driver was picked away by the police.
