The Governor for Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has vowed never to betray the trust bestowed on him by the people of Rivers State.
He stated that God has honoured River’s state hence making success to kiss the feet of his administration. The Governor made this comment on Friday at the opening of the 5.33km Ogu-Ekporo-Wakama Link Road at Tende Ama and Ogu in the Ogu/ Bolo Local Government area.
He stated that he won’t compromise the interest of the people of Rivers for his selfish interest.
”I can’t betray Rivers interest/electorates”, Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri stated on behalf of the governor.
Mr. Wike revealed that many people have approached him but he has promised never to betray his people for his own political gains.
He showed appreciation to the women of Ogu and Okrika for resisting the military and seeing to it that the 2019 election wasn’t rigged during.
