On Thursday 8th July 2021 ex-President John Dramani Mahama delegated some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to represent him as well as the NDC at the funeral of televangelist T.B Joshua in Nigeria.

John Mahama’s 2020 running mate Professor Jane Naana Opoku Ayemang, professor Joshua Alabi, John Mahama’s Campaign Coordinator for 2020 election, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, and Madam Sherry Ayittey were the members delegated by the former President.
The Nigerian televangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua who died on 5th June will be buried at the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
The funeral of the late televangelist is expected to climax on Sunday 11th July 2021.
