#Ejura: We Don’t Know Who Killed The 2 Protestors-Regional Minister Tells Committee of Inquiry

The Ashanti Regional Minsiter Simon Osei-Mensah has disclosed that the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has not been briefed on the identity of the security personnel who shot and killed two protestors at Ejura on 29th June 2021 when the military and police invaded the area.

Speaking to the Committee of Inquiry, Mr. Osei-Mensah stated emphatically that the identity of the one who killed the two protestors is yet to be foound.

On 29th June 2021, locals of Ejura staged a peaceful protest in wake of a social media activist, Kaaka who was murdered at dawn while on his way.

Police and military were deployed to the area to restore calm but unfortunately the security some personnel shot at the protestors, killing two of them.

A video that circulated after the clash saw a police man kneeling and aiming at the crowd of angry protestors.

He has been tagged to be the one who shot the protestors.
