The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah has disclosed that he was the one behind the deployment of the military that invaded Ejura in the Ashanti region few days ago.
In an interview the regional Minister sated that he deployed the military because he learnt that the youth in the area had targeted to the police station and other installations in the area.
He deployed the military to Ejura after some men attacked a social media activist, Kaaka whom the youth of Ejura felt hurt after his sudden demise.
Meanwhile the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed sadness over the death of Anyass Ibrahim Mohammed who was murdered for his activisim.
In a press release sighted the President instructed the Interior Minister to conduct an Inquiry into the unfortunate occurrences in Ejura.
