Latest report gathered by Pinaxnews.com indicates that a second-year student of Amankyim Senior High School (SHS) has supposedly ended it all at Akrokeri Bobrase in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region.
The student who has since been identified as 20-year-old Kwaku Frimpong was discovered hanging dead in his room on Wednesday.
Addressing Adom News, Kwaku Frimpong’s grandma, Ama Duku, who expressed total shock at the episode, said;” her grandson prepared dinner and after giving his younger brother, he decided to keep the rest in his room. I had to boil water and for that matter I had to go to his room for the pot but his door was locked. I forced it open and saw him hanging dead.”
The Assemblyman for Bobrease electoral area, Clifford Amakye, who additionally expressed his surprise at the occurrence, has asked the police to investigate the death of the young man.
In the mean time, friends of Frimpong, relating affectionate recollections of him, said they are yet to come to terms with the information on his death. They further added that the late Kwaku Frimpong was a quiet individual and they didn’t anticipate that he should pass on that way.
