Controversial Ghanaian clergyman and counselor Cyril Georgr Lutterodt has said that there is something unique about Telenovelas that makes many Ghanaians especially women to always watch.
According to him the uniqueness of telenovelas makes it’s audience always glued to it regardless of time or place.
Citing an example of time change in showing telenovela he stated that even when a time for a particular telenovela shifts to 10 pm because there is a Football match to be aired people still wait till the 10pm to watch because of the uniqueness of it.
Speaking on Peace FM he stated that it’s not true that telenovelas is destroying the morals of most women in Ghana.
He made this comment following the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin’s position that the influx of telenovelas in the country is destroying the morals of Ghanaian women as well as the country’s culture.
