A video chanced on by Pinaxnews.com indicates that a pickpocket got an unexpected end result as he was slapped more than once by a lady he tried stealing from in Accra.

The video which is currently going viral on social media captures passers-by likewise joining the lady to met-out a few slaps as the pickpocket attempted to look for cover from the beatings.
The police officer who was present at the scene had to whisk him away in order to prevent him from being beaten to death.
