Ben Ayade, New Cross Rivers State Governor has paid his first visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja at the State House.

The Governor is no longer a member of the opposition Political party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but rather a member of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress after announcing a switch in May 2021.
He was received by six APC governors and some members of the National Assembly including the APC caretaker Chairman, Mai Mala Buni.
Meanwhile President Buhari has vowed to give perpetrators plotting to destroy Nigeria the shock of their lives by treating them in the language they understand better.
