A fuel tanker containing fuel has overturned at Kaase, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region and residents are seen rushing to the seen with containers to get the fuel into their containers. Apparently the tanker got stuck in a gutter on 1st May 2022 and shockingly residents didn't run from the tanker but instead many tried to get some content into their containers. Some suspected armed robbers have killed a private security man at Ahenema Kokoben near Kumasi in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. This incident was said to have happened in a robbery operation at 2 Aluminum Company Limited. Reports indicates that the deceased identified as Mr Annorh believed to be 45-year-old got killed by the robbers on Tuesday 19th October when the incident occurred. On Saturday 16th October Kumasi was greeted with a heavy downpour causing one person to lose his life. The deceased is identified as Yaro who hails at the Abinkyi market in the region. He was 22 years old. The lifeless body of Yaro was recovered by the police on 17th October 2021.

13 people have lost their lives and 11 people have also been injured in a gory accident that occurred on Sunday, 3rd October 2021, on the Kumasi-Accra highway. The accident involved a Kumasi based bus from and a Cargo Truck at Konongo in the Ashanti region. An Uber driver identified as Israel Agyei Manu has been killed and beheaded by unknown people who hired his services. The middle aged man who is an Uber driver as well as a headteacher of a private school at Atonsu in Kumasi reportedly paid his fiancee a visit in a different town called Feyiase but informed her he has been hired by some people and was dropping them off. Two Gold dealers have been shot and robbed of their gold and money at Manso-Mosekrom in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region. According to residents four suspected robbers stormed the area, Thursday dawn for a gold heist. They are said to have approached a gold dealer identified as Nana Bronya and robbed him at gunpoint, before compelling him to lead them to three other business partners.
