The divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is now final.The rapper, 45, and the founder of SKIMS, 42, have reached a settlement in their divorce, which includes decisions concerning child custody and property.The former couple will share physical and legal custody of their four children, ages North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, according to divorce papers obtained by TMZ.
Kanye West will have to provide Kim Kardashian $200,000 in child support each month.
In addition, he will be liable for funding half of the children’s security, medical, and educational costs.He also gave up the $4.5 million mansion he purchased next to Kim’s last year after Kim filed for divorce, claiming he did it to be near his kids.
Kim is in charge of all costs associated with the five-bedroom house.He will also be permitted to keep his $60 million Malibu mansion, two Wyoming ranches, 300 acres in Calabasas, residence in Belgium, and the Chicago home he purchased as a youngster.
Kardashian and West both declined to pay spousal support.The couple also decided to use mediation to resolve disagreements involving the kids.
However, if either side declines to participate, the other is free to resolve a disagreement by default.
The couple’s property and other assets will be distributed in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. Nine months after Kardashian was declared to be legally single during a bifurcation hearing, the divorce has finally been finalized. While West had previously contested Kardashian’s plea to be recognized as legally single, he later stated in a statement that he had ordered his staff to hasten the divorce of his marriage to Kim so that he could devote all of his time to his lovely children.
After almost seven years of marriage, Kardashian requested a divorce from West in February 2021, alleging irreconcilable differences. In 2014, the pair wed in an extravagant ceremony in Italy.
