This comes following the team’s abysmal performance and it’s inability to win even a single game at the ongoing 2021 AFCON games.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports also summoned the executives of the Ghana Football Association for an emergency meeting where they were instructed to review the team.
The Association after some deliberation have heed to calls by Ghanaians to have the coach fired hence sacking him even before he could qualify Ghana to the World Cup.
