Work on the ditch that was created as a result of Thursday’s explosion at Apiate near Bogoso has began by the Ministry of Roads and Highways.

The Ministry in a statement on it’s Facebook page mentioned that the contractor M/S Gabriel Couto is currntly working on the road at Apiate.
This comes after a ditch was created after a vehicle which was transporting explosives to Chirano Gold Mines exploded at Apiate on Thursday 20th January 2022.
The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources announced after the incident to commence an investigation and bring perpetrators to book.
Meanwhile many residents of Apiate lost their lives and property to the explosion.
