The Accra College of Education (AcCE), on its quest to rise to a more modernized and a standardized Tertiary status, has acquired some furniture and electrical appliances for both Academic and Non-Academic purposes. These items were acquired through the GetFund support programme.
The College consequently refereed to as the “City College” in recent times has seen some impressive face lifting of the institution since the appointment of its 7th Principal of the College, Dr. Samuel Awinkine Atintono in 2018.
The items procured are, 43” HD Television, 60” HD Television, fridges, air conditions for the labs, offices and auditorium, Executive desks, standard office desks, plastic foldable chairs, swivel chairs (both executive and standard), visitors chairs, workstation desks, conference tables and chairs, Office cabinets, library tables and chairs, and 4-in-one metal benches.
Just as Dr. Atintono promised the College Council and staff on transforming the institution through great innovations on his appointment day, it is believed that he is still on course on achieving his goal as the 7th Principal of the “City College”.
The College is currently building a Clinic Facility to aid student and staff health care.
