The police in Takoradi have arrested three in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana for faking kidnap.

The three arrested according to the police are Joana Krah 29, Susana Awortwe 27, and Francis Eshun 27.
Susana Awortwe and Francis Eshun were apprehended by the Takoradi police for helping Joana Krah fake her kidnap in a bid to extort money from her adopted father.
The suspect after noticing that her adopted father had involved the police in the matter and a thorough search was being conducted she reported herself to Takoradi Central Police.
The two accomplice were also arrested and will be arraigned before court on 25th October 2021.
