Nigerian Police service commissioner suspends Abba Kyari. A couple of Days ago, The FBI accused Nigerian Police Officer Abba Kyari of being an accomplice with Husband in a Multi Million fraud deal after the latter contacted him to make a complaint.
According to the FBI, Hushpuppi contacted Abba Kyari to arrest one Vincent Chibuzor an online gang member of his after a money deal went wrong, After the arrest Abba Kyari sent his account number to Hushpuppi to make payment for the deal (ie Vincent arrest) and also sent picture of Vincent behind bars to Hushpuppi
However Abba Kyari has come out to deny it and according to him Hushpuppi only contacted them to make a complain about a threaten someone in Nigerian made about his family claiming he will murder them and also gave the person’s number to the police to investigate and make an Arrest.
After investigation, they realized it was not true and that it was just a deal gone wrong so they released Vincent. Also explaining why Hushpuppi sent him Money, Abba Kyari claim Hushpuppi only made payment for a native cloth he saw on his Website and decided to purchase it.
The decision to suspend Abba Kyari was conveyed in a letter signed by Justice Clara Bata Ogunbiyi, who happens to be a retired chief Justice of the supreme court. His suspension took effect on the 31st of July 2021 while he waited for the outcome of the investigation by the FBI of the United States
