The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi hosts said the overseeing New Patriotic Gathering (NPP) has been giving feeble reasons for the difficulties that the nearby economy is going through.
He noticed that each administration communicator has been pinning the difficulties on the continuous Russia-Ukraine battle as well as the Covid – 19.
In any case, in his view, they know that these worldwide elements have next to no to do with the homegrown difficulties.
His remarks come after a Presidential Staffer, Dennis Miracles Aboagye said on the Key Points show on TV3 Saturday August 13 that the difficulties confronting the Ghanaian economy are because of worldwide elements including the fighting.
Marvels Aboagye showed these variables have been influencing Ghana as well as different nations including Turkey whose expansion rate, he said, has shot up.
However, answering him on a similar show, Sammy Gyamfi said “what makes the difficulty significantly more excruciating is, we have individuals who, rather than getting a sense of ownership with their wreck, blunder and foolishness, consistently concoct feeble reasons for the issues that we have on our hands.
“Every NPP communicator is either blaming the problem on Covid-19 or Russia and Ukraine when they know the the root problem has very little to do with these global problems.”
He added “the ever depreciating Ghana cedi, today it is the worst current in Africa according to Bloomberg, and the second worse currency in the world. Was this caused by Covid and Russia Ukraine war?”
