Fast rising Ghanaian artist Gyakie has been announced by Apple Music in its Africa Rising artist development program.
The big announcement was said to have happened on Friday, july 2022.
Gyakie reacted to this big and exciting news saying ” I’m so excited to be sharing the music I made all the way from Ghana to the global stage and grateful to Apple Music for being a huge part of my journey so far. To play my part in widening the Global African story”.
Gyakie became a household name in Ghana and Nigeria when her ‘Forever’ music hit the music space making a lot of people know about her.
Upon further enquiries after her ‘Forever’ song hit the music scene it’s was realized that she is the daughter of popular Ghanaian legendary ‘Awoahene’ Nana Acheampong of the legendary Lumba Brothers.
It’s not so surprising that she makes such good music like ‘Forever’ since music runs down her lineage.
The singer recently released a new single titled as ‘Something’ which is already doing well in the music space.
On 2nd July 2022 the singer will be releasing her second EP ‘My Diary’ after releasing ‘Something’ and ‘My Baby’.
Her fans are already anticipating what is in the EP for them and there comes this big news. Congratulations to Gyakie.
