Dancehall/reggae artiste Shatta Wale has reacted to his mother’s accusation that he has abandoned her despite being evicted from the apartment he bought for her.
Shatta Wale has said that he had a cery tough childhood all because his mother decided to abandoned his father and tge kids.
He went on to say that his father’s plans for himself and siblings would have seen the light of the day if his mother hadn’t left home.
Shatta Wale noted that his father had plans yo relocate the family in the US because he (Shatta Wale) was finding it difficult to catch up on all subjects being taught in SHS.
He mentioned that his father’s couldn’t materialize because all efforts by his dad to get his mother back didn’t work.
‘I’m from a broken home. My mother left my father sometime ago when we were young. When I was in SHS 1, we used to study about 13 subjects in a day and I didn’t have the mind for that; my brain isn’t a factory. So I told my father that I can’t continue that.
“At that time, he wanted all of us to relocate to the states, Miami to be precise. He had a contract there and wanted all of us to emigrate to the US A. My mother didn’t think about my father’s plans and left him. She ran from home and left us. My father tried tirelessly to get her back. God is our witness. As a result of that decision, I grew up in hard conditions”, he stated.
Recall that Shatta Wale’s mum,Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah has been moving from one radio station to the other complaining of how she has been evicted from her East Legon apartment.
