The General Secretary of the biggest opposition party in Ghana National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia says that his party is going to win the 2024 election easily despite who the New Patriotic Party (NPP) chooses as it’s Presidential candidate.
Mr. Nketia insist that the NPP party has collapsed and for that reason there is nothing for the NDC to fear in the 2024 election.
Earlier in 2024 news had it that the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and the Trade and Industry Minister, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen are both interested in leading the NPP in 2024.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia who appeared in an interview on Kumasi based Nhyira FM stated that from the look of things, the NPP cannot match the NDC even if it is lead by both Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng.
”NPP as a political party has collapsed hence, it doesn’t matter who becomes flag bearer. They have collapsed the party”, he noted.
