During the second trial of lead member of #fixthecountrymovement Mr. Barker-Vormawor on Monday 28th February 2022 there was uproar in court.
Mr. Barker-Vormawor according to reports was sacked by the judge who presided over the case, her ladyship Eleanor Barnes from the court room for defying the court’s order.
The accused interjected the court when the judge noted that Mr. Barker Vormawor could not be granted bail in that court stating that he and his lawyers haven’t asked for bail.
The judge her ladyship Eleanor Barnes asked that the accused remained silent and only speak when he is asked to but he didn’t listen and rather continue to rant noting that ”the court hasn’t cloth itself in glory”.
The accused described the court as a sham and a Kangaroo court.
While the case still continued, the judge order the accused to be thrown out of the court room.
Meanwhile the judge ruled that Mr. Barker Vormawor be remanded into police custody for two weeks and to reappear in court on 15th March 2022.
