Recall that not long ago we reported that Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale stated bluntly while performing at his Freedom concert held at the Accra Sports stadium that Ghanaians promote Nigerian songs but Nigerians find it difficult to reciprocate same love.
This attracted massive reaction on social media especially from Nigerians.
Many Ghanaian artistes kept mute about it but colleague dancehall artiste Stonebwoy reacting to Shatta Wale’s stands noted that the approach Shatta used in communicating the message is wrong but the subject matter is valid and something that needs to be looked at critically.
He mentioned that Nigerians must note that although they have great power but it comes with the responsibility of forging a united African front by allowing music from other African countries to flow in Nigeria.
He mentioned that if Nigerians agree to use that approach African sounds will dominate the world as one big family as well as a global front.
