Gospel musician Diana Asamoah is one of the top Ghanaian musicians who are known to be staunch supporters of the New Patriotic Party as a results of her involvement in the party’s campaigns over the years.
In 2016 and 2020 she mounted many platforms to perform for the party while it solicited for votes from Ghanaians through campaigns.
Owing from the hardship Ghanaians have been greeted with under the Nana Akufo-Addo administration, a number of celebrities who endorsed the NPP party have criticized it.
It was the expectation of Ghanaians that Diana Asamoah will no longer follow the party just as actress Matilda Asare lamented that she regrets voting for the NPP.
On Sunday 19th December, Diana Asamoah stormed the party’s Delegate conference to perform just as always.
