New mandatory Covi-19 safety protocols has been introduced by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to help contain the spread of the virus in the country.
As part of the protocols to be observed some category of government workers will have to be vaccinated mandatorily.
The Minister of Health Kwakwu Agyemang addressing a press conference on 1st December 2021 stated that it has become necessary that the country takes stringent measures.
The Minister in his address mentioned healthcare workers, security personnel, staffs of schools and all staffs of government institutions, commercial drivers, Okada riders, Uber drivers among others as people who would have to undertake a compulsory vaccination.
