Private legal practitioner, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has made some prediction about the the pending 2024 elections and has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) may win.
According to him if the NDC wins the 2024 election it will govern the country for 24 years and hunger will afflict NPP members who feel they on top today.
“If NDC comes to power, they will govern for 24 years, the hunger that will afflict you (NPP members) in this country will be no joke,” he made this comment while reacting to how Owusu Bempah’s case is being handled.
He has suggested that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo and Godfred Dame have the power to pardon Owusu Bempah and for that reason should step in.
He couldn’t fathom on why Owusu Bempah and Nana Agradaa had an issue but the man of God is being heckled while the latter is walking freely.
“Akufo-Addo has power of pardon, (Godfred) Dame has the power of nolle prosequoi but you refuse to intervene because in the way police are treating the issue, you are likely to lose a lot of Owusu Bempah supporters”, he said in an interview on Okay FM.
“How is it that Agradaa and Owusu Bempah have an issue and the latter is being heckled but the former is freely walking about. When elections come, you think Owusu Bempah supporters across the world and back home will support your cause?
