The Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has made a comment about his government that can be described as blowing one’s own trumpet.
According to him the 1F1D initiative by the NPP government which has seen to the construction of some factories in the country has made the current government as one that has set up more factories than any since the country attained independence.
“We have more factories set up under our government than under any other government since independence,” the Vice President said.
“In addition to these indicators in the macroeconomy, we have established the development authorities, the One Constituency One Ambulance, the Zongo Development Fund and we have managed the Covid-19 pandemic by world class standard.
“We have also introduced Free TVET and Free SHS and much more.”
The Vice President made this disclosure while addressing a gathering at Ashesi University on 2nd November 2021.
The Vice President also mentioned that effective 2022 all newborn babies will have their own Ghana card and this is a move to stop corruption in the country.
