Management of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has assured the public that business will not in any way be affected by the explosion which occurred at the SSNIT Premier Towers on 30th October 2021.
According to Management even though the explosion affected some of their glazed windows at the Pension House and Tower Block it will not affect the conduct of business.
“The security agencies are investigating the cause of the unfortunate incident. Management assures that all the necessary precautions are being put in place to ensure the safety and security of staff and clients,” a statement from Management further said.
Meanwhile one person has lost his life out of the explosion and two have been severely injured.
Management disclosed that the explosion was caused by two scrap dealers who were using two cylinders to cut an old garbage container into pieces.
The police have already began an investigation into the incident.
