President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has said that he has no reason not to embark on a ‘Thank You Tour’ after the good people of Ghana saw to his re-election in the 2020 polls.
According to the President if people like the former President of Ghana John Mahama who lost the election has the courage to tour the 16 Regions of Ghana and thank them for their vote then who is he the ultimate winner not to show gratitude to Ghanaians.
He made this comment while speaking in an interview with Chairman General on Thursday 21st October 2021.
The President mentioned that even though in Greater Accra Region his party lost 7 seats it had substantial votes in the region which added up to their victory.
Nana Akufo-Addo is set to embark on a ‘Thank You Tour’ in Accra and just as he did in most regions it commenced with an interview.
Meanwhile the President has apologized to all the people of Cape Coast for denying in an interview that the habour project was never a part of the list of his commitment for the region.
Apologizing in an interview with Chairman General he said he mistakenly made that erroneous comment.
