Three-time Presidential candidate for the NDC and a former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has assured its members especially those at the grassroot level that the party won’t forget them if they work hard to bring the party in power.
The former President gave party faithful this assurance while addressing them on Wednesday during his ‘Thank You Tour’.
Unlike in the past that some members especially a former member of the party Steven Atubiga complained bitterly of party leaders neglecting him and people at the grass root even when opportunities were available, Mr. Mahama says this time the party will reward hard work.
”We urge you all to work hard and bring the party back to power”, he noted.
”When yoou work hard and we come into office we won’t forget you, the party shall not forget you.”
”If you die for the party the party will also die for you when we come into office. Do that and when we come into office, we won’t forget you, we will reward you for your hard work when we come to power”, Mr. Mahama stated.
This is indicates that the party is indeed rewriting all it mistakes like Sammy Gyamfi stated earlier.
