Member of Parliament for Buem constituency, Kofi Adams has said that there is no candidate in Ghana currently who is more ready and marketed to lead than country than former President Mahama.
There has been some rumours that the former Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffour will challenge John Mahama in the party’s internal election for the flagbearer position.
However, Mr. Kofi Adams is of the opinion that John Mahama’s candidature on the ticket of the NDC is a done deal since he is more ready to lead Ghana to progress.
“There is nobody currently that we will say that he is the most marketed and “most-ready” to lead the country so that the country will progress. Let’s even put NDC Presidential Primaries aside and not talk about the NDC but Ghana . . . the most prepared person as we speak today to lead the country to the next higher stage of development is John Dramani Mahama. There is no doubt about it,” he stated.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ show he stressed that all faithful NDC members are currenting thing of victory for the party in 2024.
” . . I am not worried about the fact that if anybody comes to contest for Presidential race, John Dramani Mahama will not win; I am talking about both the NDC Presidential Primaries and the 2024 general elections,” he added.
