Popular private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has stated that the three-time Presidential candidate of the NDC, John Mahama must step aside for other people to take over the leadership of the NDC owing from his achievement in politics.
Though Yaw Boateng Gyan disclosed not long ago that the former Governor of Bank of Ghana, Kwabena Duffour will contest John Mahama in the NDC flagbearer race, he hasn’t come out to announce it.
He stressed that the former President is Ghana’s problem as it stands now because of the kind of utterances he makes.
He noted that in just few months into Nana Addo’s second term as President John Mahama is deliberately pressurizing this administration through his ‘thank your tour’.
‘In the name of ‘thank you tour’ you are rather raising the political temperature in Ghana”, Mr. Maurice Ampaw stated.
