The former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has stormed the Ashanti Region of Ghana on Sunday, September 12 2021.
After beginning the second phase of his thank you tour in the Bono East he is set to climax it with a two-day tour in the Ashanti Region which is purposely to show appreciation to Ghanaians for voting for him in the 2020 election.
The former President’s first phase of the tour began in August and the last phase is ending in September.
In the Ashanti region, he will visit residents of Ejura and have some chit chat with some party faithfuls in the area.
The former President will be on Radio Mercury for an interview and later head to the Manhyia Palace to pay a courtesy call on Asantehene.
He will also interact with some chiefs and religious leaders at the Asawase market Conference hall, and durbar will also be held to officially welcome him in the region.
