Famous Ghanaian commentator, Kwabena Yeboah has descended heavily on African politicians who only care about their own wellbeing instead of the people they serve.
Speaking on Starr chat on Wednesday 1st September 2021, he lamented on the caliber of politicians Africans have who only care about getting wealthy when they assume power instead of catering for the needs of their people.
He stressed that politics is about serving the people but unfortunately the kind of politicians Africans are blessed with only come into power to fill their bellies.
“Our politics is so toxic and we must do something about it. Politics should be about serving the people but unfortunately, most African politicians come to fill their bellies. We should get into politics to serve the people and not milk the state.”
Speaking on Anas Aremeyaw’s exposé in the Ghana Football has still not had any impact as corruption keeps growing and getting worse in the country.
“There are people who think Anas has come to spoil our sport but even after the Number 12 expose’ some of these things are still going on. It means his work has been in vain,” he said on Starr chat.
