Stephen Ashitey Adjei, an executive member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Tema East Branch has said that the current flagbearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama must step aside for someone else to contest in favour of the party.
Speaking on Peace FM, he noted that it is high time the former President of Ghana gives way to another contestant in the 2024 election.
Touching on Mahama’s ‘Thank You’ tour, he noted that its a deliberate move by the former President to gain the support of Ghanaians in subsequent elections.
He challenged the former President to give way to another candidate if he truly loves the party like he claims.
Mr. Adjei also mentioned that the former President must used his money to support the party.
