A man in his 30s has murdered his 28-year-old wife at Assin Gyina Bodi33 in the Assin South Municipality of the Central region of Ghana.
The man Kwabena who has two children with his wife Abena butchered her with his machete on August 31st 2021.
The two hails from Burkina Faso but have relocated to Assin where they engage in farming activities for their daily bread.
Kwabena was said to have butchered his wife in the presence of his kids.
The children who were scared at what their dad was doing to their mum began to scream for help, some residents rushed to the seen but upon reaching there they found out that Kwabena had slashed his throat with the machete he butchered his wife with.
Assin South police arrived at the scene and deposited the body of Abena at the morgue.
The man is currently at St. Francis hospital seeking medical care.
