There has been rumours that come 2024, the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia will contest as the presidential candidate on the ticket of the NPP and this rumour has been circulating even though the Vice President hasn’t officially announced it.
News reaching us is that delegates in the Vice President’s home region, North East have endorsed his flagbeareship bid. In a video monitored, the delegates were seen at a gathering where some were heard giving him all their support in his bid to be President.
At a Constituency Delegates Conference Polling station officers for Yunyoo constituency of the North East region also added their support to the Vice President.
Giving out their support to the Vice President they said; we stand here in the name of all electoral area coordinators and polling station executives have agreed that Dr. Bawumia should be the party’s candidate.
Meanwhile Mr. John Boadu has said that in terms of good record the NPP is far ahead of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
