A beautiful lady has taken to social media to share her experience as she claim to have lived with HIV for 29 years
Sharing the news on her Facebook page, Doreen revealed that her treatment took 16 years to be effective. She claim doctors told her she would not more than 4 years on earth after she was diagnosed with the deadly virus at 8 years old.
On facebook, she wrote:
“Doreen,you are HIV positive & you will start special treatment called ARVs for the rest of your life”…This was supposed to be my life changing line 16 years ago when my parents decided it’s time i know i have HIV & not skin cancer as per the stories they were telling me before.Instead of seeing a life-long terminal condition, i saw an opportunity to eat chips,chicken & soda every month 
But society & self-stigma changed my mentality about living with HIV very quickly and i later found myself in a very long queue to seek a HIV cure from babu wa LoliondoDon’t let anyone including yourself,define how you should host your HIV.Remember, HIV is your geust you are the host & you will make the rules .Start your ARVs, fulfill your dreams because after all you are MORE THAN your HIV diagnosis.Goodmorning from your Undetectable Queen
