A chieftaincy dispute currently on going at Sefwi Akaatiso for some weeks now has forced several residence from the town to flee
According to reports, the resident flee due to fear and panic they aid the clash has caused leading to assaults on some residents. This happened after some youths in the town attacked some of the elders after they planned to reinstall a chief identified as Kwaku Mintah who was destooled some years back after he was replaced by a chief in 2014
The reports also state that those left in the town currently have locked themselves in their room for fear of being attacked by the angry Mob who have blocked roads in the area demanding that the elders reconsider their decision
However the current chief was also destooled after a misconduct
