Police have arrested three armed robbers suspected to be Fulani’s who attempted to attack a Taxi driver at Teacherkrom on Aframso Sekyedumase road.
According to police, the Taxi driver, Kofi Seidu Emmanuel upon getting to where the incident took place, he got signaled by the armed robbers asking him to stop but he didn’t.
Instead he gathered courage and knocked down one of the robbers then bolted. Upon reaching Aframso, he narrated the incident to youth of the area who then agreed to go to the spot where the incident took place in a quest to haunt for the robbers.
Upon getting to they scene they found the robber who was run down by the taxi driver severely injured in his head and thigh. He was conveyed to the police station where he admitted to ganging up with Jahe and Sadiq to commit the crime.
The heavily injured robber has been taken to Asante Manpong Government Hospital where he is receiving treatment. The incident took place on 4th August but on 6th August Bube, Mohammed Jahe, and Karim Abdul Sadiq Abubakari by the police.
They then lead the police to Enchainsie forest where they showed the police two guns in their possession. The guns; which are two shot guns with one registered and unregistered have been retrieved by the police. They are currently awaiting trial.
