Celebrated Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Captain Smart has said that President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo is overwhelmed by the nature of corrupt scandals happening under his watch.
Speaking on Onua TV’s ‘Maakye’ show, he noted that the President is corrupt and can no longer talk about not being corrupt and even if he does its artificial.
He mentioned that prior to 2021, he always held onto the perception that the President is not corrupt or doesn’t tolerate stealing but over the years he has proven it to be otherwise.
Captain stressed that he thought the public purse which the President always promised of protecting was misplaced by his wife but later found out the President had swallowed it.
He made this comment while reacting to the current state of the country.
