Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Obiri Boahen has said that the party will continue to remain in power even after 2024 elections.
According to him the the NPP will retain power in 2024 because it has contributed immensely towards the growth of Ghana.
Speaking on the party breaking the 8-year-cycle on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ he said; ”a new phase of the NPP government will take over the affairs of the country even when Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s term expires as President of the country, and that is breaking the eight”, he stated.
He is optimistic that Ghanaians will vote for the NPP party because of its contribution and the development drive of the Akufo-Addo led government.
”Having realized the immense contribution and the development drive of the Akufo-Addo led government, I am very optimistic that Ghanaians will vote for the NPP in 2024”, he noted.
He added he would want God to take his life than to see the NDC win the Presidential election.
