Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said that the corruption which President Nana Addo promised Ghanaians to fight and defeat while still a Presidential candidate in 2016 has defeated him with ease.
Recall that the President advised his government officials to have a change of mind and opt out if they think they are about using his government to enrich themselves because he is in to protect the public purse.
Despite the President creating office for Special Prosecutor and swearing in a new representative due to Martin Amidu’s resignation, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa is of the view that the President is sinking in corruption.
In a post on Facebook, Okudzeto expressed shock over the continuous existence of the Health Minister , Kwaku Agyemang Manu in office despite procuring Sputnik V vaccines at $19 instead of $10.
He posits that its been had for the government to sack the Health Minister because he isn’t the only one involved in the scandalous deal.
Meanwhile the Minister of Health during a public sitting of the investigative committee indicated that he wasn’t thinking properly when he procured the Sputnik V vaccines at $19. His reason is that the country was in a state of emergency and so needed to act without deliberation.
